Ricec Radisson Blu is one of Riyadh’s latest landmark buildings with a striking structure, prominently located on King Fahad Road and embedded as an integral element of Riyadh’s International Conference and Exhibition Centre.
In addition to Architecture and Lead Consultancy, Kieferle & Partner was further commissioned the Interior Design scope of works – implementing the Blu print standard as design framework and baseline of our design.
The ID was inspired by the dynamic architecture of the building and in working side by side with the architectural team the very dynamic design approach was translated seamlessly onto the interior spaces.
The arrival experience starts in a double volume space, welcoming its guests in a bright, open and light atmosphere. The sharp architectural language was juxtaposed in the interior utilizing a more organic and softer approach with curved structures defining the reception and lobby coffee bar. Communal and individual seating zones cater to the guests and visitors serving for meetings as well as relaxed co-working. A multipurpose hall and various MICE facilities are connected seamlessly to the lobby and the design intent is taken forward with soft shapes and colours setting the property’s tones and being a neutral canvas for all kinds of events form corporate meetings to weddings.
The guestrooms interior design was mainly led by the Radisson Blu print standards yet tweaked to convey a distinct residential and unique look – layered through carefully curated and locally crafted Artworks and Accessories.
